Setting a desktop background inside the image

  • In Components > Applications of smartImager, you can create a new Application of “Desktop Background” by adding an “Install Command” as follows:

reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop" /v Wallpaper /t REG_SZ /d  C:AppsMyWallpaperwallpaper.bmp /f 

 OR

  • In the unattend.xml file that Windows uses for settings
    • In the “oobeSystem” settings pass > component "Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup"<Themes><DesktopBackground>C:AppsMyWallpaperwallpaper.bmp</DesktopBackground></Themes>
